Fresno Wins at Home to Take 2-1 Lead in R1
The Fresno Grizzlies moved to within one game of the Round 2, downing the visiting Salt Lake Bees at Chukchansi Park by a score of 6-3. Grizzlies right-hander Bobby Dailey had a strong outing in which he threw 7.0 innings of 6-hit ball. The win gives the Grizzlies a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-5 Round 1.

In the bottom of the 2nd, Fresno took the lead on a 2-run double by Ken Alexander. At the time, the Grizzlies were trailing 1-0, but Alexander's hit with two outs against Salt Lake pitcher Max Rey put them in front, 2-1.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Alexander.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Chukchansi Park in Fresno.
