Road Win Lifts Lakeland to 2-1 Lead in R2
Starter Shawn Major was sensational for the Lakeland Flying Tigers in his team's 3-1 triumph over the Bradenton Marauders in Game 3 of the Round 2. Major pitched well, but Lakeland picked up the win to take a 2-1 lead in the series.

Second Baseman Garry Bishop made an impact for Lakeland, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Joe Miller in the top of the second. For the contest, Bishop was 2-4 with a double.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Bishop.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Calvin Falwell Field in Bradenton.
