The Baltimore (DSL) Orioles 1 started the League Series in style, winning on the road against the New York N 2 (DSL) Mets 2 at New York Mets Complex by a score of 7-6 to take an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Orioles 1 catcher Cipriano Hernández excelled. He went 5-5 with 3 doubles and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
