SeaWolves Edge Reading in Pitching Duel
The Erie SeaWolves, despite a fine performance by Reading pitcher Josh Davis, grabbed a 1-0 win at FirstEnergy Stadium. Davis allowed 1 run over 9 innings. Dylan Nash earned save number 2 this season. After losing, Reading is 2-2.

J.J. Cortini came through with a big-time hit for Erie. The right fielder smacked a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 1-0. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Reading manager Shaun Larkin said, following the tough loss.
