Rainiers Pull Off Thrilling 4-2 Win in Extras
The Tacoma Rainiers defeated the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, 4-2, in 13 innings. Doing his part was second baseman Travis Nelligan, who went 3 for 5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Tacoma reliever Robbie Jones picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Cedric Young was tagged with the loss. The win puts Tacoma at 2-2.
