Fresno turned a good effort from starter Jim Richmond into a win over the Las Vegas 51s at Chukchansi Park. The final score was 2-1. Reliever Geoff Johnson picked up the win. His record improves to 1-1. Mitch Smith took the loss. Fresno is now 3-2.

The Grizzlies got a clutch hit from designated hitter Zak O'Connoly. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Grizzlies.

"This wasn't a good win," said O'Connoly. "It was a great win."
