Chukchansi Park was the site for Pacific Conference action featuring the El Paso Chihuahuas and Fresno Grizzlies.

The Fresno Grizzlies got a magnificent effort from pitcher José Morán, who kept El Paso hitters in check en route to a 3-0 Grizzlies win at Chukchansi Park. Mike Wilson locked down his 2nd save.

Morán confounded El Paso hitters. Over 7.1 innings, he allowed no runs on 4 hits.

"Enjoyed this one," Morán told the Fresno Daily. "But it's back to work tomorrow."

El Paso, with the loss, is still a robust 9-4.
