At Raley Field, the Sacramento River Cats and Tacoma Rainiers were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Tacoma Rainiers trumped the Sacramento River Cats, 10-6, at Raley Field. Tacoma center fielder Chris Huffman was terrific. He was 1-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Doug Bannatyne nailed down the save.

Tacoma used the hitting of Jose Colina to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Rainiers on top, 4-2. For the game, Colina had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"It was a solid team effort," said Colina after the game.

The loss makes the River Cats 6-9.
