Edgardo Quiñones made an impact in the 9-8 Sacramento win over Albuquerque. Quiñones, who is tied for 6th in the PC in runs scored with 18, was 3-5 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times. The loss makes Albuquerque 17-15.

The game was at a stalemate until left fielder Andy King came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing Albuquerque pitcher Dave Francisco, he hit a 1-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Sacramento on top, 9-8.

"It's a good feeling when you fight so hard and win," said River Cats manager Carlos Corporan.
