The Round Rock Express got a stellar effort from pitcher Jhoan Duran, helping Round Rock score a win over the visiting Fresno Grizzlies, 3-2. With the win, Round Rock raised its record to 20-16.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Express had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the third, when left fielder Ignacio López hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Geoff Johnson and made the score 3-0, Express. López went 2 for 4 with 2 singles.
