Nashville Sent Home with 8-3 Loss
Fresno Grizzlies starter José Morán found his groove in his team's 8-3 win over the Nashville Sounds. The Grizzlies, at 23-17, sit in third place in the Pacific Conference South Division.

The Grizzlies got a big boost from left fielder Juan Gutiérrez who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first inning off Sounds hurler Nacho Romero. It was his 3rd walk of the season and put Fresno on top, 1-0.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Gutiérrez.
