Rainiers Lose at Home, 3-2

The Salt Lake Bees eked out a 3-2 win versus the Tacoma Rainiers at Cheney Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Octávio Rangel. He was terrific. In 8 innings, Rangel surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. Tommy Watson finished the game for Salt Lake and earned his 14th save.
Phil Logan, who is tied for 6th in the PC in triples with 2, had a direct impact on the outcome. Logan contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put Salt Lake up, 3-1.
"Thought I threw pretty well and overall I felt good," said Rangel.
