Despite a great performance by Colorado Springs third baseman Yeyson Yrizarri, the El Paso Chihuahuas defeated the Sky Sox by the score of 6-3 at Security Service Field. Yrizarri went 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The Pacific Conference North Division-leading Chihuahuas are 33-22.

The Chihuahuas got a big at-bat from designated hitter Chuck Hall. For the game, Hall went 1 for 4 with a home run. In the top of the fifth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 1st home run of the season gave El Paso a 2-1 lead.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Hall.
