Chukchansi Park was the site for Pacific Conference action featuring the Fresno Grizzlies and Sacramento River Cats.

The Sacramento River Cats beat the Fresno Grizzlies, 10-1, at Chukchansi Park. The win was due in part to designated hitter Edgardo Quiñones, who went 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Sacramento goes to 36-21. The win puts them 4½ games up in their division.

Sacramento used a well-timed hit by Jorge Díaz to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the River Cats ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"Solid game, solid win tonight," said a smiling Díaz.
