Fresno turned a good effort from starter Erling Moreno into a win over the Colorado Springs Sky Sox at Security Service Field. The Grizzlies won the game, 3-2. The setback makes Colorado Springs 30-39.

The Grizzlies got a big at-bat from designated hitter Bobby Jones. For the game, Jones was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Fresno a 2-0 lead.

"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Moreno.
