Vizcaino, Sacramento Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
In a low-scoring contest between the Sacramento River Cats and the Las Vegas 51s, 28-year old right-handed pitcher Raffi Vizcaino proved to be the difference. The Sacramento right-hander earned props for his performance in the 1-0 River Cats win. Doug Edwards sewed up the save, his 2nd. Sacramento goes to 42-33, Las Vegas to 44-31.

Vizcaino's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 5 strikeouts in 8 innings while allowing 6 hits. Vizcaino, who is tied for 9th in the PC in innings pitched with 101.0, goes to 4-7 on the year with 64 strikeouts.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Vizcaino told the Sacramento Citizen.
