Dave Benson impressed in the 13-7 Fresno win over Salt Lake. Benson, who is tied for 10th in the PC in home runs with 6, went 4-4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. With the win, the Grizzlies have a record of 44-35.

Ron McKendry had a big 2-run double for the Grizzlies in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Fresno leading 4-2 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a curveball from Greg Emery and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 8th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Grizzlies ahead, 6-2.

"We want to make a habit of winning," Benson said after the game.
