Lehigh Valley Tumbles Again, Falls, 1-0, to Charlotte
The Charlotte Knights scored a tight, 1-0 win versus the Lehigh Valley IronPigs at BB&T Stadium. Charlotte pitcher Ron Stewart held his own in the contest. Stewart picked up the win for Charlotte, going 8 innings. He gave up no runs on 8 hits. He now sports a record of 1-2. The win puts Charlotte at 6-7.

Charlotte first baseman Ben Cross contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a circle change to left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 1st hit of the season and put the Knights ahead, 1-0.

"Ron had a little bit of everything going," said Knights manager Jason Boyd. "Really sharp performance."
