Chukchansi Park was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Reno Aces and Fresno Grizzlies.

The Reno Aces besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Fresno center fielder Jimmy Hanna by beating the Grizzlies, 3-2, at Chukchansi Park. Hanna went 3-3 with 3 singles and a walk. The victory puts Reno at 35-91.

The Aces beat the Grizzlies in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out single José López produced in the top of the seventh. Batting against Arturo Flores, López gave his team the lead, 3-2, when he hit a run-scoring single.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Reno manager Ruben Niebla. "It's usually not just one thing."
