The Altoona Curve knocked off the Erie SeaWolves, 7-6, at People's Natural Gas Field. Kevin Moon was a big reason Altoona won. The second baseman went 2-4 with 2 doubles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Altoona is now 22-35, Erie 38-18.

Djoka Uskokovic hit a run-scoring double off José Otero in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Curve in front, 6-5. In addition to the double, Uskokovic had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.

Curve manager David Ortiz wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."
