Bats Get One-Run Win at Buffalo
Tomás Martínez had a good game, but he could not keep the Buffalo Bisons from falling, 7-6, to the Louisville Bats at Coca-Cola Field. The Buffalo third baseman was 2 for 3 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 in the loss. Darren Davis got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 3.1 innings. Jose R. Lopez earned the save for Louisville, his 4th.

Louisville used a well-timed hit by Rusty Pratt to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Bats ahead, 7-6. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"Time to decompress after a tough win," said Pratt.

The win puts Louisville at 10-9.
