Baysox Walk It Off for 45th Win of Season
The Bowie Baysox racked up a win at Prince George's Stadium, bumping off the Erie SeaWolves, 5-4, in 11 innings. Jeff O'Brian, who started for Bowie, pitched effectively for his team. The winner in relief was Ken Cooper. He is now 2-6. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 2 innings. The Baysox, now 45-45, have won 4 in a row.

The decisive blow was delivered by Juan Madrid in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a run-scoring double off 24-year old right-handed pitcher Junior Taylor to win the game for Bowie. The home crowd went nuts.

"It's a mindset," said O'Brian. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
