The Erie SeaWolves downed the Altoona Curve, 12-3, at Jerry Uht Park. The SeaWolves were led by Luis Provolone. Provolone was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. António Hernández nailed down his 1st save. With the win, Erie raised its record to 74-49.

J.J. Cortini had a big bases-clearing double for the SeaWolves in the bottom of the third inning. With Erie leading 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a splitter from 22-year old left-handed pitcher José Romo and swatted a double to center. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the SeaWolves ahead, 5-1.
