The Altoona Curve topped the New Britain Rock Cats by a score of 5-3. Leading the way was left fielder Bob Dawson. Dawson went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times for the Curve. The loss makes New Britain 75-61.

The Curve got a big at-bat from first baseman Luis Muñóz. For the game, Muñóz was 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 7th double of the season gave Altoona a 3-2 lead.

"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said New Britain manager Gary Kendall.
