The Stockton Ports topped the Inland Empire 66ers by a score of 6-4. Leading the way was left fielder Pat Hall. Hall was 3 for 4 with a triple and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Ports. Tablighat Khassanov was the winner. He's now 1-0. The loser was Ric McGill. Picking up the save was 25-year old right-handed pitcher Joey Henderson.

In the bottom of the third, Hall had a run-scoring triple for Stockton. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Ports on top, 3-2.

"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Inland Empire manager Kent Matthes.

With the win, Stockton lifts its record to 2-0.
