JetHawks Earn 3-2 Win Versus 66ers
Lancaster right fielder Jerry Hood contributed significantly to his team's 3-2 win over the Inland Empire 66ers. Hood went 2 for 3 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the JetHawks. Lancaster reliever Rubén Romero picked up the win, raising his record to 3-2. Ernie Jennings was tagged with the loss. Lancaster goes to 18-10 with the win.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Lancaster catcher Juan Canó, facing Israel Gómez, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the JetHawks the 3-2 win.

"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Inland Empire skipper Kent Matthes.
