LoanMart Field was the site of a competitive game between the Inland Empire 66ers and Rancho Cucamonga Quakes.

Rancho Cucamonga Quakes pitcher Julián Segura was in fine form, leading his team past the Inland Empire 66ers, 1-0. Rancho Cucamonga reliever Walt West got the win, raising his record to 3-1. Josh Freedman was tagged with the loss.

Had Sergio Sánchez not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Sánchez hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 1-0, in favor of the Quakes.

"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Segura after the game.

Their 15-18 record puts the Quakes 4th in the South Division.
