Kirkham Delivers Walk-Off Win for 66ers
In a tight contest between the Inland Empire 66ers and the High Desert Mavericks, Chris Walsh was the determining factor. The Inland Empire right-hander sparkled in his team's 2-1 win. Reliever Israel Gómez picked up the win. His record improves to 2-1. Ben Tucker took the loss. High Desert has now lost 4 consecutive games.

Inland Empire got a knockout punch from Trevor Kirkham. The pinch hitter hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Kirkham told the Inland Empire Times.
