Behind a fine performance from Conan Jenkins, the San Jose Giants knocked off the Inland Empire 66ers, 6-2. Jenkins was 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Giants. The win for the Giants raised their record to 32-15.

Jenkins had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a full count splitter from José Espinosa, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Giants a 4-2 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Jenkins.

Jenkins called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
