Lake Elsinore starter Geoff Erickson pitched well against the Inland Empire 66ers at San Manuel Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a win, 1-0, in 12 innings. Lake Elsinore reliever Luis Maldonado got the win, raising his record to 1-1. Dylan Locke was tagged with the loss. Lake Elsinore goes to 18-33, Inland Empire to 27-24.

Lake Elsinore needed the clutch hitting of Jeremy Haley to seal the deal. The designated hitter swatted a solo home run in the top of the 12th inning to put the Storm on top, 1-0. For the game, Haley had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
