In a low-scoring tilt between the Jupiter Hammerheads and the Clearwater Threshers, Dave Proulx, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2022 draft, was the difference-maker. The Jupiter left-hander spearheaded the 1-0 win. Proulx, the winner, moves to 1-1. He threw 5 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up 1 walk. Jupiter is off to a hot start at 6-2.

Jupiter used a well-timed hit by Steve Lee to capture the win. The center fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Hammerheads ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Dave gets tougher when he has to, makes a big pitch when he has to," said Jupiter skipper Mike Mordecai.
