Hammerheads third baseman Jorge Paz left his mark on his team's 3-0 win over the Lakeland Flying Tigers. Paz was 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Jupiter in the contest. Jupiter pitcher Sam David earned the win, hiking his record to 1-0. Juan Martínez suffered the loss. Gunnar Walsh collected save number 3.

With Jupiter leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Paz hit a fastball from Juan Martínez for a 2-run double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Hammerheads ahead, 3-0.

"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Jupiter manager Mike Mordecai.

Lakeland, with the loss, is still a robust 7-3.
