Mets Win with Late Rally
The St. Lucie Mets defeated the Dunedin Blue Jays, 7-6, in part because of catcher Alex Boyd. Boyd was 4 for 6 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 for the Mets. The Mets, now 8-2, have played some good baseball in the early going.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 13th inning, when St. Lucie shortstop Steve Parkinson, facing Derek West, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Mets the 7-6 win.

"It's great to see the crowd jacked up," Parkinson said.
