Yankees Take Down Hammerheads, 4-3
The Tampa Yankees faced a tough opponent in Jupiter pitcher Dave Proulx, but still scratched out a win at George M. Steinbrenner Field by a final score of 4-3 in 14 innings. Proulx went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. Tampa reliever Mac Kramer picked up the win to move to 1-0. Pancho Jaca suffered the loss. For Jupiter, now 15-8, wins have been plentiful, losses few.

The Yankees got a clutch hit from right fielder Tommy Moore. In the bottom of the 14th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Yankees.

"We've got great fans," said Moore. "I hope they got what they came for."
