Joker Marchant Stadium was the site for Florida State League action featuring the Lakeland Flying Tigers and Brevard County Manatees.

Riding the 2-hit performance of the 23-year old third baseman Steve Perrin, the Brevard County Manatees stopped the Lakeland Flying Tigers, 6-2, in 9 innings. Rubén Segura snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits over 4 innings. He's now 2-1 on the season. Johnny Blackwell wrapped it up, recording his 6th save.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Ken Campos? The Brevard County designated hitter had a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put the Manatees on top, 4-1. For the game, Campos had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
