Joe Collins made an impact in the 9-6 Fort Myers win over Dunedin. Collins, who is tied for 10th in the FSL in extra base hits with 13, went 1 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Chris Carter was the winner in relief. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Kevin McGhee. Tim Hayes sewed up the save, his 6th.

With Fort Myers trailing 6-3 in the bottom of the sixth, Collins hit a fastball from Kevin McGhee for a grand slam home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Miracle ahead, 7-6.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Collins.
