A good performance from right fielder Wally Ramsey helped the Jupiter Hammerheads defeat the Bradenton Marauders, 9-2. Ramsey was 2 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Hammerheads. The win puts Jupiter at 23-11 this season.

With one out in the bottom of the fifth, Eric Wilkerson had a chance to do some damage. Bradenton was trailing 3-0, but had runners on 1st and 3rd. Wilkerson came to the plate against Steve Cole, and hit a sacrifice fly. But it was not enough to complete a Bradenton comeback.
