Led by Dan MacConachie, the Lakeland Flying Tigers downed the Dunedin Blue Jays, 5-3. MacConachie was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for the Flying Tigers. Getting the save was José Cervantes, his 15th. Now 30-5, Lakeland has won 14 consecutive games.

MacConachie had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 0-2 fastball from Lou Johnson, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Flying Tigers a 5-3 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for MacConachie.

"We've been playing some good baseball," MacConachie told the Lakeland Daily News. "We're aggressive and focused on what we're going to do on the field and getting it done."
