Palm Beach Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The home team gave the crowd some walk-off drama.

The Clearwater Threshers got a sterling performance from pitcher Ben Perry, but the Palm Beach Cardinals still prevailed, 3-2. Perry threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The triumph puts Palm Beach at 20-20 for the season.

With a runner on 2nd in the bottom of the ninth, Greg Baldwin delivered the knockout blow when he hit a run-scoring double to win it for Palm Beach. In the contest, Baldwin went 2-4 with a double.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Clearwater manager Hector Santiago.
