The Dunedin Blue Jays beat the Clearwater Threshers by a score of 7-3. Dunedin second baseman Robbie Blankenbeckler deserved the lion's share of the credit. Blankenbeckler went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Blue Jays. The winning pitcher was Lou Adams. He's now 3-3. He went 5.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 5 hits for the Blue Jays. The defeat makes Clearwater 19-22.
Blankenbeckler contributed in the top of the third. With the bases loaded, he grounded out, driving in 1 run. It was one at-bat among others that helped Dunedin get the win.
