Miracle Absorb 4-3 Home Loss

The Palm Beach Cardinals did just enough to sneak past the Fort Myers Miracle, 4-3, at Hammond Stadium. Palm Beach pitcher Andy Reeves, in particular, had a standout performance. Reeves got the win, improving to 2-3. He gave up 6 hits and walked 3 over 5.2 innings. He allowed 3 runs. With the win, the Cardinals have a record of 22-20.
The Cardinals benefited from a costly error in the top of the fourth. With César Vargas at bat and Palm Beach leading 3-0, the Fort Myers miscue allowed Palm Beach to plate 1 and take the lead, 4-0.
"I give credit to my teammates for this win. We got it done," Vargas told the Palm Beach Today.
