Blue Jays Turn Back Tortugas, 4-2
The Dunedin Blue Jays got a marvelous performance from pitcher Dave Jayme. The right-hander kept the Daytona offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 4-2 Dunedin victory at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. By defeating Daytona, the third-place Blue Jays improved to 18-24.

Kevin Mullins dealt the Tortugas a blow in the bottom of the third. Batting with the bases loaded and Dunedin leading 1-0, Mullins hit a first pitch splitter for a run-scoring single.

Jayme said his team "played with focus and determination."
