|
The Fort Myers Miracle topped the Palm Beach Cardinals, 6-4, with youngster Ed Bingham playing a key role. Bingham was 3-4 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs for the Miracle in the win. Tad Taylor, now 3-0, was credited with the win in 1.2 innings of relief. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits, while striking out 0 and walking 0. Getting the save was Chris Arnold, his 3rd.
In the bottom of the third, Fort Myers right fielder José Lerma had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Lerma stroked a run-scoring single to left. It made the score 2-0, Fort Myers. For the game, he was 3 for 5 with 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs.

The loss makes Palm Beach 22-21.
