Tortugas Collect 6-3 Win Over Blue Jays
Laiafi Kalinda had a strong outing for the Daytona Tortugas against the Dunedin Blue Jays at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 6-3 win. Alex Ashe picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 4-1. Joe Stroud suffered the loss. By defeating Dunedin, the second-place Tortugas improved to 25-20.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Romeo Flores? The 25-year old second baseman Flores stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 12th inning to put Daytona up, 3-2. For the game, he was 2 for 6, including 1 double and 1 single.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Flores.
