The Lakeland Flying Tigers picked up a win at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium, knocking off the Dunedin Blue Jays, 5-3. Starting pitcher Sean Bevins played a key role in the triumph. The Flying Tigers boast a remarkable 39-8 record.

Second Baseman Jesús Ríos made an impact for Lakeland, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Wilbert Anderson in the top of the fifth. For the contest, Ríos went 1 for 4 with a double.
