Yankees Win with Late Heroics
The Tampa Yankees picked up a win at George M. Steinbrenner Field, taking down the Fort Myers Miracle, 3-2, in 10 innings. On the mound for Tampa was right-hander Pat Todd. He played a central role in the triumph. Reliever Pancho Herrera picked up the win. His record improves to 1-1. Tim Hayes took the loss. The Yankees sport a record of 19-30.

The decisive blow was delivered by Brendan Morgan in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off 22-year old right-handed pitcher Tim Hayes to win the game for Tampa. The home crowd went nuts.

"He who laughs last laughs best," Morgan said, postgame.
