Boyd goes 3-for-4 in Mets Win
Alex Boyd helped his team muscle past the Bradenton Marauders, 7-1. In the game, the St. Lucie catcher was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. With the victory, the Mets upped their record to 27-24.

St. Lucie third baseman Reggie Turner contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a changeup to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 43rd hit of the season and put the Mets ahead, 2-0.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Boyd told the St. Lucie Citizen.
