Blue Jays Beat Yankees, 4-1
|
Jerry Pagán brought his A-game to help Dunedin defeat the Tampa Yankees, 4-1. The win gives Dunedin a season record of 28-26.
Chuck King had a big 2-run double for the Blue Jays in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Dunedin leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a screwball from Duane Carter and swatted a double to right. It was his 7th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Blue Jays ahead, 3-0.
"Winning is the only thing that really matters," Pagán told the Dunedin Chronicle. "If you can win without even breaking a sweat, more power to you."
