Cardinals Lose, 6-1, at Hammond Stadium
Enthusiastic fans came out to support the home team at Hammond Stadium.

Fort Myers Miracle starter Ed Pike pitched effectively against the Palm Beach Cardinals at Hammond Stadium. The right-hander spearheaded his team's 6-1 win. The Miracle improved their record to 25-30 by beating Palm Beach.

Dani Martínez had a big 2-run double for the Miracle in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Fort Myers leading 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a changeup from Mike Lowery and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Miracle ahead, 4-1.

Martínez attributed the win to his team's "determination."
