Dawson drives in 5 runs to Ignite Marauders Offense
|
Marauders left fielder Bob Dawson left his imprint on his team's 8-2 win over the Fort Myers Miracle. Dawson went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for Bradenton in the contest. Juan Juárez went 6.1 innings, allowing 1 run on 3 hits. The right-hander struck out 4 and walked 1. With the win, he's now 1-1 this season. After today's action, Bradenton sits at 25-31, while Fort Myers falls to 26-30.
With Bradenton trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Dawson hit a curveball from Eric Patterson for a grand slam home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Marauders ahead, 4-1.
