The home team gave the crowd at Roger Dean Stadium something to cheer about.

Dunedin got a terrific performance from pitcher Joel Vallance, but it wasn't enough to beat the Jupiter Hammerheads. Jupiter won the Roger Dean Stadium contest, 1-0. Vallance threw 7.1 innings of shutout ball for the losing team. The victory gives Jupiter a record of 33-23.

The Hammerheads got a clutch hit from right fielder Robby O'Neil. In the bottom of the 14th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Hammerheads.

"We found a way to get it done," O'Neil said.
